Welcome to the Tee Party
*pours tea (with Crown Apple of course) and motions for you to come in my imaginary home office* welcome welcome to Tidbits of Tee, I’m glad you could make it! Now that you’re here lets get down to business.
As of late I’ve been asked to start blogging again…so here I am, blogging again but this time I’m here to stay. With everything going on in the world you can draw inspiration from any and everything. My inspiration for this blog came from several places. In everyday casual conversations with family and friends I’m often reminded of the value of my perspective, the power of my words, and how I should do this and that to maximize the effectiveness of my platform. I moved to California about a year ago (WOWWW I gotta stop telling ppl I’ve only been here for 6 months) and started reading my friends blogs and listening to various podcasts at work. I got intrigued by them, not because they are my friends and people I know but because of the level of vulnerability that they achieve. With the millions of people with access to the Internet, iTunes, and SoundCloud, their willingness to open up and be relatable to people going through similar things. I remember telling one of my friends how I’m not ready to be that accessible to the world yet…then I ended up here, writing a blog utilizing my platform to be vulnerability in hopes to inspire, encourage, spread, and share knowledge to the world.
My vision and goal for Tidbits of Tee is to blog about various topics, offering my experience (or lack there of) while providing exposure to relatable black owned businesses and the services they offer. There are plenty of black owned businesses that can provide the same or better services as the well known Fortune 500 companies but they lack the resources for exposure and support to help their business grow to reach that level. As well as provide preventive facts to increase health awareness in hopes to diminish the lack of knowledge and poor health habits within the black community to reduce health complications.
With that being said click the links below to tune into some of the blogs and podcasts that inspired me!
